A look back at the old clay pits in Claybank, Minnesota where clay was mined for the three Red Wing Stoneware companies as well as for the Red Wing Sewer Company. First brought out by horse and wagon, then by the Duluth Red Wing & Southern Railroad and ending it up by trucks and hauled back to the Red Wing Companies. We are not sure how far back that bridge goes in time or what it’s use really was, but is surly a reflection of time gone by. For following the railroad see this video from Br.
