In this 2.5 hour webinar on June 25, 2024, from 1–3:30 pm Eastern, Sam Briegel will share her process for creating exquisite and detailed fabric texture and colored patterns on soft slabs of porcelain. Sam draws inspiration from clothing, and because clothing is both texture and print, she employs two main techniques in her work. The texture is achieved from monoprinting plaster slabs of relief onto soft slabs of porcelain and the other is from screenprinting underglaze in layers directly onto the slabs.
