Descriptions:

That bubbly, crater-covered glaze you’ve seen on ceramic pieces? It has a name — lava glaze — and one key ingredient creates all that texture: silicon carbide. In this video I break down exactly how much to use, what happens when you add too much (spoiler: your glaze turns gray), and why the “more bubbles = more silicon carbide” rule everyone repeats is actually a myth.

Two sets of real test tiles from my workshops in Lebanon and Portugal — with some surprising color results along the way.
