Descriptions:
Ever wondered what happens when AI tries to create ceramic glaze recipes? I asked ChatGPT to generate 7 glaze formulas for cone 6, including matte glazes, rough-textured sculptural glazes, and special effect glazes for a wabi-sabi aesthetic. Spoiler: the results were not what I expected!
In this video, I analyze the AI-generated glaze recipes using a Stull chart (from glazy.org), compare flux ratios, and test the glazes on both white and black clay bodies. Some turned out surprisingly decent, while others completely missed the mark. I also applied my favorite slip and lava glazes on top to see how they interacted.
