Can You Really Make a Living from Ceramics?

Every time someone asks in a pottery group whether you can make a living from ceramics, the comments flood in: “It’s impossible.” “You’ll starve.” “Get a real job.” And they’re right that it’s hard. But they’re wrong that it’s impossible — and I think the reason people say it is because they’re only picturing one route.

In this video I share what it’s actually been like for me — the honest version, not the highlight reel.
