2017 NCECA Conference lecture featuring Sunshine
The Q’eqchi’ are Maya people in the central highlands of Guatemala. Pak’ok is their term for the ceramic traditions here, carried orally since pre-conquest. The following discusses current artistic trends and relationships in and between the mountain villages, through the stories of three artists.
